So if you agree the term then lets begin with this guide to root canvas 2 with install clockworkmod recovery on it. (All the guide we post in this website are tested & 100% working.)

Requirement to root jelly bean Micromax Canvas 2 A110

To root canvas 2 jelly bean you need to download CWM RECOVERY.IMG (6MB), Flash Tool (3mb) & Superuser.zip (1Mb). To make the downloading easier we have prepared a Zip archive containing all the files in exact places. So download that Zip & continue follow the guide.

• Computer

How to Root Micromax Canvas 2 Jelly Bean A110

1) Download the Canvas 2 Rooting KIT from above requirement section & extract it on your desktop.

2) You will get two folder after extracting, Open the SP_FLASH_TOOL folder & double click on the Blue Flash Tool icon.

3) Now flash tool window should open, click the Scatter-loading button & small popup will appear browse to the second extracted folder (scatter+recovery+su) & choose the Mt6577_Android_scatter_emmc. (Check Option 1 from above picture.)

4) After that click on the RECOVERY option from flash tool window, a popup will appear so browse to the second extracted folder (scatter+recovery+su) & choose the recovery.img. (Check option 2 from above picture)

5) Now Turn on USB debugging on your phone, to do so open Setting > Apllication > Development > Turn on USB debugging.

6) Turn off your phone & connect it to pc via USB cable. Wait for 15 sec & then disconnect the phone from pc & take out the battery.

7) Now Click the DOWNLOAD button from flash tool window. (check option 3 from above picture)

8) When the counts begin, connect your phone to pc via usb cable.

9) A green ring will appear at the center of the screen. This means Flash Tool have started flashing recovery.img.

10) Wait for few minutes & the flashing will be over, now you can disconnect the phone from pc.

You have successfully installed the Clockworkmod Recovery.img on your Micromax Canvas 2. Now lets proceed toward rooting the phone.

11) Now switch on your device, then connect it to pc. Open the scatter+recovery+su folder there you will find a zip file namely UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.04. So transfer it to Canvas 2 sdcard internal. (don’t extract this zip)

12) Switch off your phone again.

13) Press Power + Volume Up + Volume Down buttons together to boot your device in recovery screen. From there press volume up button to enter into Clockworkmod Recovery MODE.

14) Now Select the Install zip from sdcard option, choose the UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.04 zip from sdcard. Select YES to confirm flashing.

15) After the flashing over, choose Reboot System Now.
