How to Root HTC Wildfire S

• Connect your mobile to PC and copy the PG76IMG.zip file in your SD card.
• Disconnect your phone from PC, disable fast boot and power off it.
• Hold Volume up Button + Power Button until the device boots into Hboot Screen.
• ‘Apply Update’ will show up, the touchscreen won’t work in this mode, so click Volume Up button. Then power off the handset with Power Button.
• Now remove the PG76IMG.zip from your SD card and copy root.zip to your SDcard.
• Again boot into Hboot mode as you did earlier.
• Now enter into recovery mode (navigate through volume keys)
• Select “Install Zip from SD card” and select root.zip file. Select yes and confirm it, now the script will root your device and power on when it is done.
• You have successfully rooted your HTC Wildfire S now.
