Prerequisite

  1. Charge your phone’s battery at least 60%.
  2. Enable USB Debugging on your phone by going to Menu > Settings > Manage Applications > Development > Check USB debugging box
  3. Do backup everything important like contacts, logs, messages with Super Backup.

How to Root Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070

  1. Extract All the Downloaded files to your desktop.
  2. Switch off your phone and boot into Download/Odin Mode.
  3. Open Odin.exe and connect your device to PC.
  4. Click on PIT button and select GT-I9070_EUR_XX_8G_20111220_KL6.pit.
  5. Click on PDA buttong and select rootkernel.tar.md5
  6. Check F.Reset Time and Auto Reboot and click start.
  7. Download your Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 firmware according to your baseband.
  8. Flash the firmware using odin.exe by following the same process.
  9. Wait for the process to finish and Odin will show Pass and your Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 will get rooted.
  10. You have successfully rooted your Samsung Galaxy S Advance I9070 now.
